17 Suppliers Honored for Quality and Delivery Performance
AFA AIR & SPACE, WASHINGTON DC – 14 September 2009 – General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA‑ASI), a leading manufacturer of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), tactical reconnaissance radars, and surveillance systems, today announced that it is honoring 17 suppliers with the company’s annual Supplier Excellence Awards in recognition of outstanding quality and delivery performance in 2008.
Onsite awards presentations began in early August and will continue through the end of September at the following companies: Aero Tec Laboratories, Ramsey, N.J; Certified Metalcraft Inc., El Cajon, Calif; Coastline Metal Finishing, Garden Grove, Calif; Cone Drive, Traverse City, Mich; Dela Technology Inc., Rockville, Md; Hydraflow, Fullerton, CA; J.I. Machine Company Inc., San Diego, CA; Microphoto Inc., Roseville, Mich; Newport Adhesives & Composites, Irvine, Calif; North Hills Signal Processing, Syossett, N.Y; Prime Plating, Sun Valley, Calif; Santa Clara Plating Company Inc., Santa Clara, Calif; Small Parts Power Coating Inc., San Marcos, Calif; Symcoat Metal Processing, San Diego, Calif; Textile Products Inc., Anaheim, Calif; Tube Service Corp., El Cajon, Calif; and TW Metals Inc., Los Angeles, Calif.

The GA-ASI Supplier Excellence Awards recognize outstanding suppliers who sustained or exceeded a 98% quality and 98% on-time delivery performance rating throughout calendar year 2008. A total of 432 suppliers across all product lines were eligible to receive the award.
