Program Overview

The General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) Internship program provides paid internship opportunities year-round for eligible students. Participants gain exciting hands-on research experience, while working alongside the company’s finest engineers and professionals who will serve as mentors. GA-ASI invites undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing degrees in technology and engineering (particularly aeronautical, electrical, software, mechanical, and other aerospace-related fields), as well as other majors that lend support in special projects, to apply. Working at GA-ASI means embracing stimulating and challenging work, having the chance to work on cutting-edge technology, and being part of the team of a leading manufacturer in unmanned aircraft systems, tactical reconnaissance radar, and surveillance systems. In addition, students will attend technical lectures, guided tours, network with peers and company employees, complete a technical report, and participate in a final presentation that summarizes the results of their research.
